"Our research reveals an encouraging finding: Social safety net programs can substantially buffer households against climate-induced violence," Leah Lakdawala told CG about her team's study on impacts in the Peruvian Highlands.
"Fundamental to abortion care is … infrastructure," Marisa Falcon, a practical support organization expert, told CG on the threshold of a major winter storm expected to bring power outages, transit disruptions, and business closures to much of the U.S.

"We did not directly address this through these separate papers," study lead author David Luglio told CG, "but it is also important to understand if and how these wildfire and heat effects on autism development combine, especially given that they will likely co-occur in the future."
ProPublica said in late February that the agency shared it "has stopped distributing" gear containing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances following the outlet's early-February reporting that the agency knew for years its pants contained potentially harmful "forever chemicals."

For many, the consequences of freshwater scarcity may go beyond the time- and labor-intensive process of collecting it, with excessive consumption of and exposure to overly salty water linked to reproductive health concerns.

"It is important for the tech industry to recognise this demand..."
"We are effectively trading the health of our planet and communities for misogyny," Brionté McCorkle, executive director of Georgia Conservation Voters, told CG.
